RAGU The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 and 12 board examinations started on Tuesday with the subjects Mathematics and Entrepreneurship respectively. While students found the Entrepreneurship paper easy and direct, Class 10 students found the math paper to be moderate. Rishikka Ravi, a class 12 student from Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Taylors Road said, “The questions were direct and the revision exams in our school really helped us. We had enough time to prepare, and many questions were from what we had prepared.” This sentiment was also echoed by teachers on the Class 12 exam. “Many students were confident of getting centums too,” said a teacher from a CBSE school in the city. Meanwhile, Class 10 students taking up the math exam found the paper to be moderate with one question seeming tricky. “Most of the questions we were prepared for. One set of the question paper was difficult but otherwise the paper was easy enough to sail through,” said a Class 10 student. Students remarked that the preparation given by their schools was more than enough. “While the textbooks helped us, the other preparation guides were also useful to prepare from. The paper was moderate which was expected in mathematics,” said another Class 10 student.
