Delhi Police on Tuesday launched a QR code-based confidential support system that enables students to seek anonymous help and access verified information as part of a new anti-drug campaign to curb substance abuse in colleges. Joint Commissioner of Police Deepak Purohit said the ‘Drug-Free Campus’ initiative was rolled out under the Centre’s Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. “It allows students to discreetly access counselling resources and assistance without fear of stigma. These QR codes will be displayed across campuses. The anonymity feature is intended to encourage early reporting and help-seeking behaviour,” he said.
