Sukhada Vascular Institute and Superspeciality Hospital, which primarily focuses on vascular diseases and diabetic foot disorders, will be inaugurated in Hubballi on January 4. Addressing presspersons in Hubballi on Friday, Dr. Chetan Hosakatti, chief vascular surgeon and chief executive officer of the institute, said that the new hospital located near New Court Complex in Hubballi had the most advanced treatment facilties. Dr. Hosakatti said that the hospital had installed the Philips Zenition 90 Hybrid Cath Lab, which he claimed was the first such system to be commissioned in south India. The advanced facility would help in the accurate diagnosis and treatment of complex vascular conditions, he said. He further stated that the hospital would function with a multidisciplinary team approach, involving specialists from different medical disciplines to provide coordinated treatment. According to him, emphasis would be on structured clinical protocols and patient-oriented care.
