The Paramathi Velur All Women’s Police have registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act against a headmaster for alleged sexual assault on a Class V girl in his school. On Saturday, the 10-year-old girl’s parents questioned her after she looked disturbed. She told them that the headmaster, Sundar Raj (58), had sexually assaulted her at the school. Her parents lodged a complaint with the Paramathi Velur All Women’s Police. The police registered a case under the POCSO Act against the headmaster and are on the lookout for him.
