On February 16, Dr. Vikram Siddareddy, Chairman and Managing Director of United Hospital, said that the initiative is aimed at making essential healthcare services accessible to people from all sections of society, particularly the poor and needy.

During the camp, expert doctors and specialists from various departments will examine patients. A range of diagnostic services, including CT scan, ECG, 2D Echo, X-ray, ultrasound, blood tests, BMI assessment and other basic investigations, will be provided free of cost. Medicines prescribed during the camp will be distributed free of charge.

The hospital’s annual foundation day health camps have, over the years, benefited tens of thousands of people across the Kalyana Karnataka region, reflecting its continued commitment to accessible and affordable healthcare.

United Hospital, a multi-specialty facility specialising in accident and trauma care, critical care and comprehensive cardiac services, is equipped with advanced medical technology, modern diagnostic facilities, a modular cath lab and specialised intensive care units. The management stated that the anniversary health camp forms part of its ongoing efforts to promote preventive healthcare and early diagnosis among people.

Residents of Kalaburagi and neighbouring areas have been urged to make use of the opportunity to undergo free medical screening and consultation.
