M. Maheshwar Rao | Photo Credit: SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT Chief Commissioner of the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) M. Maheshwar Rao on Monday said efforts are under way to improve the quality of food served at Indira Canteens, while also outlining plans to improve waste management, road infrastructure and off-street parking facilities in the city. Speaking to the media at the GBA head office, Mr. Rao said the food currently served at the Indira Canteens is of satisfactory quality but acknowledged that there is scope for improvement. He noted that a meeting would soon be convened to review and enhance food standards.
