The Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation welcomed the State Budget, describing it as pragmatic, welfare-oriented and anchored in a long-term development vision. In a press release, AP Chambers president Potluri Bhaskara Rao said the proposals reflected the Chief Minister’s resolve to realise the Swarna Andhra Vision 2047.

He said that despite a challenging fiscal deficit situation, the government had made sincere efforts to strike a balance between welfare commitments and growth-driven investments at a time when fiscal consolidation was most essential.

Mr. Bhaskara Rao observed that the thrust on agriculture, horticulture, primary education, irrigation, infrastructure, industrial development and regional economic corridors indicated a structured roadmap for sustainable and inclusive growth. He suggested that the government focus on developing a Rare Earths Corridor, ensure early completion of MSME parks, position Andhra Pradesh as a horticulture and plantation hub, and fast track the completion of the Amaravati capital city and the Polavaram project.
