Photo by special arrangement | Photo Credit: SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT Revenue Minister Krishna Byregowda, who is also Minister-in-charge of Hassan district, conducted surprise visits to hospitals, schools, the gram panchayat office, and other establishments in Hassan on Monday and interacted with the public and the officials. As he reached Channarayapatna from Bengaluru, the Minister walked into the taluk government hospital. Accompanied by C.N. Balakrishna, MLA, and medical officers, the Minister enquired of the patients at the dialysis centre about treatment and facilities available. He also collected data about the medicines available at the hospital and wanted to know what measures they take to avoid the supply of medicines nearing expiry. During the visit to the Taluk Panchayat, the Minister collected details from the officers about the NREGA works. K.S. Lathakumari, Hassan DC, and B.R. Poornima, Zilla Panchayat CEO, also joined the Minister for the visits. Later, the Minister and officers visited the Mudalahippe Gram Panchayat office in Holenarasipur taluk. He interacted with the public who had visited the office for the e-swathu of their property. Mr. Byregowda visited the taluk hospital at Holenarasipur and collected information about the number of outpatients visiting the hospital daily and the common health problems faced by local people. The Minister and the officers visited the government high school at Tattekere Bare in Holenarasipur taluk. They interacted with the teachers and students. The Minister and officers also had lunch at the school.
