Cooperation Minister V.N. Vasavan will inaugurate the 41st annual conference of the Mahatma Gandhi University Employees’ Association, to be held on the campus on February 17 and 18. K. Radhakrishnan, MP, will inaugurate the general session at 10:30 a.m. on February 18. P.K. Biju (President, Confederation of University Employees’ Organizations, Kerala), T.R. Raghunathan (vice president, CITU State committee) etc will be present. An official statement said the conference will discuss the critical challenges facing higher education, particularly those confronting MG University. It also criticised the proposed National Education Administration Bill by the Union Government, which has been submitted for review by the Joint Parliamentary Committee.
