Kanye West | Photo Credit: Special Arrangement American rapper-songwriter Kanye West, who recently changed his name to Ye, will be making his India debut with a concert titld ‘Ye Live’ on March 29. It is set to take place in New Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. The concert is part of his global run of headline performances. A bestselling music artist with over 160 million records sold, Kanye has 24 Grammy Awards to his name. He is known for his frequent stylistic shifts in songs like “Slow Jamz”, “Carnival”, “Stronger”, “Believe What I Say”, “Bittersweet Poetry” and more. As per a press release, the concert, organised by Whitefox, Plush Entertainment & Wizcraft, is “set to redefine the scale of international touring in the region”. The event is expected to have “expansive staging, cinematic large-format visuals, precision-engineered acoustics”. Ye will be performing some of his iconic older songs as well as his contemporary hits. Speaking about organising the show, Aman, founder of Whitefox said in a statement, “We wanted this show to feel monumental and it is. One night. One performance. The first time ever. We’re making sure more fans have the opportunity to be part of what will be the biggest concert India has ever seen.” Tickets for the event will be available on February 18 at 4:00 pm on ticketing service District by Zomato.
