The ₹3.32 lakh crore State Budget is a roadmap aligning Swarna Andhra with Viksit Bharat, observed chairperson of the Twenty Point Programme Implementation Lanka Dinakar. Addressing a press meet at the Secretariat on Saturday (February 14), he said the Budget balances development and welfare while strengthening irrigation, industry and horticulture across regions.

He underlined the ₹8,365 crore allocation under VB-G Ram G for rural asset creation with 40% State and 60% Central share. Allocations include ₹28,000 crore for the Visakha Economic Council, ₹30,000 crore to develop Rayalaseema as a horticulture hub, ₹6,000 crore for Amaravati and ₹6,105 crore for phase-I of Polavaram Project.

Mr. Dinakar said ₹53,915 crore in capital expenditure would boost jobs and fiscal deficit was reduced to 3.84%.
