Photo: Arrangement A massive explosion was reported following a radiator blast at a laboratory in Choutuppal of Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district on Friday (February 13, 2026) night No casualties or injuries were reported in the incident. The fire broke out at Brundavan Laboratories Pvt Ltd in Yellagiri village of Choutuppal. According to an official from the Fire Control, a distress call was received at around 10 p.m., following which ten fire tenders were rushed to the spot. The response included a hazmat rescue tender, a specialised fire service vehicle designed to handle emergencies involving chemical, biological or radioactive materials along with a robotic unit to assist in the operation. Firefighting operations continued till 3.30 a.m. before the blaze was completely brought under control. Around 60-70 firefighting personnel were involved in the operation. Authorities said the exact cause of the explosion and the extent of property damage are yet to be ascertained. As a precautionary measure, two fire tenders have been stationed at the premises for emergency support, even though the fire has been completely extinguished. Further investigation is under way.
