Cadre of the AIADMK staged demonstrations at various places in Tiruchi, Pudukottai, Perambalur, and Ariyalur districts on Friday condemning the DMK government for trying to “disrupt” the 125 days job guarantee scheme for the rural people. The demonstrations were held at 14 places in Tiruchi district, including Marungapuri, Lalgudi, Tiruverumbur, and Pullambadi. The demonstrations in Perambalur district were held at Perambalur, Alathur, Veppanthattai and Kunnam, while in Ariyalur district, they were held at Ariyalur, Jayamkondam, Sendurai, Andimadam, T. Palur, and Thirumanur. In Pudukottai district, the demonstrations were held at Pudukottai, Aranthangi, and Tirumayam, said police sources.
