Janardhan Reddy (Roads and Buildings), Gottipati Ravi Kumar (Energy), and Anagani Satya Prasad (Revenue) will attend the Pakala Beach Festival on Saturday (February 14, 2026). Speaking to The Hindu, on Friday (February 13), Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) Chairman Nukasani Balaji said, “A.P. Tourism Department and Maritime Board are jointly spending more than ₹2 crore to host this two-day event at Pakala Beach in a grand manner. This shallow water beach will be among the top ten developed beaches in the State.” “As Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is giving top priority to the tourism sector, we are doing our best to develop Pakala Beach as major tourist destination in the district. After the successful completion of this event, we are planning to restart the resort near the beach which was deteriorated due to the neglect of the previous government,” he said. Urging the people to attend the beach festival, A.P. Maritime Board Chairman Damacharla Satyanarayana said, “Pakala Beach is just six kilometres away from the National Highway. The State government is undertaking several programmes to provide entertainment and joy to the people.” The two-day beach festival will feature water sports, cultural shows, and many other entertainment programmes. A helicopter ride has also been arranged. Special arrangements are being made for women, and 500 police personnel are being deployed to ensure safety of the visitors, he added.
