Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Friday said in the Assembly that American businessman and philanthropist Bill Gates would visit Andhra Pradesh on February 16. In a reply to the discussion on motion of thanks to the Governor’s address in the Assembly, Mr. Naidu said under the Sanjeevani project, the technology-driven public health initiative, the State would utilise the opportunity to create digital health records and even provide personalised medicines, with the support of the Gates Foundation. Highlighting that the State would expand public healthcare services under the project, he urged the MLAs to shoulder the responsibility of creating awareness among people about the Sanjeevani project.
