St. Aloysius university to host TEDxStAloysius in Mangaluru on Feb 21-22

St Aloysius (Deemed to be University) is organising the official launch of TEDxStAloysius on February 21 at 9.30 a.m. in L.F. Rasquinha Hall of the university in Mangaluru.

P. Ranjan Rao, advocate; Gavin Mathias, CEO, Mathias Aluminium Systems Private Limited; and Fr Melwin Joseph Pinto, Rector of St Aloysius Institutions are expected at the inauguration.

TEDx talks will commence at 9 a.m. on February 22. There will be 10 speakers from a wide range of fields, share their inspiring journeys, powerful ideas, and unique perspectives.

The speakers include Hritik Sharma, entrepreneur, educator and podcaster; Simrun Chopra, certified nutritionist, fitness coach and entrepreneur; Mariyam Hussain, fashion stylist, influencer, content creator and designer from Mumbai; P.P. Devan, ENT Specialist with over 42 years of experience at A. J. Hospital, Mangaluru; Leeza Kiran Rodrigues, educator, wellness practitioner, media host and community speaker; Advika Shetty, dancer, actor and Yakshagana artiste; Zabi Khan, animal rights activist; Prashanth S. Nayaka, founder of ChaayaArtLight, film-maker, photographer, cinematographer and storyteller; Colonel Arun Iyer, decorated Indian army veteran and Hemant Sharma, co-founder of Claygrounds by Plaza, sports entrepreneur, influencer and creative professional.

This year’s TEDx theme, ‘Unwritten Threads of Thoughts’, attempts to explore the unseen connections of imagination, curiosity, and reflection that guide human creativity. It is a reminder that every breakthrough, every innovation, and every transformation begins as an unwritten thought, waiting to be voiced, shared, and woven into reality, into life.
