Two persons, including a software engineer, were killed in separate road accidents reported under the Nelamangala and Bellandur traffic police station limits. In the first incident, a 29-year-old man identified as Yashavanth, a native of Tumakuru district, died after his motorcycle was hit by an unidentified vehicle on the NICE Road flyover near Nelamangala. Yashavanth was working in a private company and was on his way to work. Nelamangala traffic police have registered a case. In another incident, a 23-year-old software engineer, Varshit, a native of Tamil Nadu and resident of Sarjapur, was killed after the bike he was riding crashed into a compound wall near Bellandur in the early hours of Thursday. The accident occurred around 2.30 a.m. on Sarjapur Road. His friend Vishanth Datta, who was riding pillion, sustained serious injuries and is currently undergoing treatment. His condition is said to be critical. The Bellandur traffic police have registered a case.
