Customs officials at the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) have seized narcotic substances worth over ₹3.40 crore in two separate cases.

In the first case, during the inspection of baggage of a passenger who had arrived from Bangkok, officials detected 9.7 kg of hydroponic ganja. The estimated value of the seized contraband is around ₹3.39 crore. The passenger was immediately taken into custody and a case has been registered under the NDPS Act.
