Ramadoss on Thursday (February 12, 2026) accused a group “expelled” from the party of using every possible tactic to oust him from politics through false narratives. Interacting with journalists at his Thailapuram residence near Tindivanam, Mr. Ramadoss, without explicitly naming his estranged son Anbumani Ramadoss, said a certain group that had been “expelled” from the primary membership of the PMK has been relying on falsehoods and is continuing to hurl abuses not only at him but also at senior PMK leader G.K. Mani. “We have expelled that group from the PMK,” he stressed. Mr. Ramadoss said talks were under way regarding the formation of an alliance for the upcoming Assembly elections and that a decision would be announced soon. Accusing the Election Commission of India (ECI) of acting with bias, he contended the Delhi High Court’s verdict was in favour of him, and that the court had categorically held that the dispute on leadership must be decided only by a competent court. But the ECI was acting with bias, he charged.
