Designed to provide real-time human resource services through smartphones, the Sarige Mitra app enables KSRTC employees to access a wide range of information at their fingertips. | Photo Credit: H S MANJUNATH The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) on Thursday (January 1, 2025) launched the upgraded “Sarige Mitra” Human Resource Management System (HRMS) Mobile App, Version 2.0, marking a step towards digital governance and employee-centric reforms. The app was launched by Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy as a New Year initiative. According to KSRTC, the app is aimed at enhancing transparency, operational efficiency and employee welfare within the corporation. Designed to provide real-time human resource services through smartphones, the Sarige Mitra app enables KSRTC employees to access a wide range of information at their fingertips. “Key features include a geo-fencing-based attendance system, monthly attendance tracking, access to profile details, service register information, family and nominee details, and one-click downloads of monthly payslips. The app also offers leave management tools that allow employees to check leave balances with ease,” Mr. Reddy said. “In addition, the upgraded version strengthens internal communication by providing instant access to official notifications, circulars and departmental updates, ensuring timely dissemination of information across the organisation,” he added.
