This session will focus on helping the public better understand epilepsy, including its causes, symptoms, and the range of treatment options available. The discussion will also address common myths and misconceptions surrounding the condition, explain how epilepsy is managed over the long term, and highlight the importance of timely medical care. Experts will also emphasise the role of awareness and social support in improving quality of life for persons living with epilepsy and in reducing stigma associated with the condition.
