Noted nephrologist in Visakhapatnam and former Vice-Chancellor of Dr. NTR UHS Dr. T. Ravi Raju was conferred the Lifetime Achievement Award of the Indian Society of Nephrology – Southern Chapter (ISNSC) during its conference held in Hubballi, Karnataka, from February 6 to 8. He was unanimously chosen by the ISNSC for the award in recognition of his exemplary contributions, dedicated service and lifelong commitment to the field of nephrology, particularly in the southern states of India, according to a statement issued here. The ISNSC hailed Dr. Ravi Raju’s academic leadership, clinical excellence and unwavering dedication to teaching and mentorship, which inspired generations of nephrologists and significantly strengthened renal care and education in the country, the release added.
