Water supply to be affected in two zones in north Chennai on February 9

Residents of two zones in north Chennai will not receive piped water supply on February 9 as Chennai Metrowater will carry out pipeline interconnection work at Madhavaram.

A press release said residents of areas such as Kargil Nagar, Manali New Town, Ernavoor, Andarkuppam, Mathur, and Sadayankuppam, falling under Tiruvottiyur and Manali zones will not receive piped water supply for 12 hours, starting from 10 a.m. on February 9.

Metrowater has advised residents to store water in advance and opt for ‘Dial for Water’ service for emergency needs. However, the water agency will continue its street supply, the release said.
