Thirty-three students received gold medals for academic excellence at the 10th annual convocation of CMR University at its lakeside campus in Bengaluru on February 7. 

The ceremony marked the graduation of 2,350 students from the Class of 2024–25, and the award of Ph.D. degrees to 37 research scholars across disciplines.

Minister of Higher Education Dr. M.C. Sudhakar presided over the event. Arvind Consultancy CEO Sanjeev Keskar was the chief guest.

Honorary doctorates (Honoris Causa) were conferred on Dr. K. Balaveera Reddy, former vice-chancellor of VTU, and noted Hindustani classical vocalist Sangeeta Katti Kulkarni.

Vice-Chancellor Professor (Dr.) H.B. Raghavendra presented the annual report while Chancellor Dr. Sabitha Ramamurthy administered the oath of integrity.

Speakers emphasized ethical leadership, research-driven learning, and globally competitive education, advising graduates to pursue their careers with confidence and purpose.
