The 17th edition of the Indian Classical Music Festival, Purana Gitam — a musical journey of devotion, organised by the Bharatiya Samagana Sabha, will conclude on February 8, at Chowdiah Memorial Hall, Vyalikaval, Malleswaram. The final day’s programme will begin at 5 p.m. The evening will open with a multi-instrumental classical ensemble featuring Apoorva Krishna (violin), Momin Khan (sarangi), Malvica Chopra (sitar), Rakshita Ramesh (veena), Vinod Shyam Anoor (mridanga and percussion), and Roopak Kallurkar (tabla). The four‑day festival will close with a Carnatic vocal duet by Ranjani and Gayatri. They will be accompanied by Vittal Rangan on violin, Delhi Sairam on the mridanga, and Giridhar Udupa on the ghata.
