Speaking to reporters outside the Kerala Police Crime Branch headquarters in Thiruvananthapuram after about three hours of questioning on Saturday, Mr. Prakash said he answered the SIT’s questions “with candour” and that he had “nothing to hide.” When asked whether the SIT had questioned him about his presence with the prime accused, Unnikrishnan Potti, at the residence of Congress leader Sonia Gandhi in New Delhi, Mr. Prakash said: “I have shared everything with SIT”. Mr. Prakash said he was “unaware of” Mr. Potti’s purported statement that the latter had procured access to Mr. Gandhi through his “contacts” in Karnataka. “He (Mr. Potti) is out (on bail). You (mediapersons) can ask him in person”, he said. When asked whether the SIT had queried him about any alleged financial link with Mr. Potti, Mr. Prakash replied in the negative. Mr. Prakash said he was in the dark about whether the SIT would question him again. “The SIT has recorded my statement, and it might have to verify the facts”, he said. Mr. Prakash said the SIT had contacted him on Friday and requested his presence at the Crime Branch headquarters for “some clarifications.” Published – February 07, 2026 02:07 pm IST Share this: Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window) WhatsApp Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Click to share on Threads (Opens in new window) Threads Click to share on X (Opens in new window) X Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window) Telegram Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window) LinkedIn Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window) Pinterest Click to email a link to a friend (Opens in new window) Email More Click to print (Opens in new window) Print Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window) Reddit Click to share on Tumblr (Opens in new window) Tumblr Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window) Pocket Click to share on Mastodon (Opens in new window) Mastodon Click to share on Nextdoor (Opens in new window) Nextdoor Click to share on Bluesky (Opens in new window) Bluesky Like this:Like Loading...
