A woman attendant at Government Medical College Hospital (MCH), Thiruvananthapuram, sustained injuries when the cap of an oxygen cylinder flow meter burst open and hit her on the forehead in the early hours of Friday (February 6, 2026). MCH authorities said that none else were injured in the incident which happened around 1 a.m. They said that the injury was minor and that the employee was doing fine.
