Hotel worker attacked – The Hindu

Melapalayam police have picked up four juveniles in connection with the attack on a hotel worker on Wednesday.

Police said the hotel worker, S. Shahul Hameed, 24, of Melapalayam, had prior enmity with a 17-year-old boy from Beedi Colony in Melapalayam. An altercation broke out between the two on Wednesday and the teenager and his friend, also a minor, attacked Mr. Shahul Hameed in which he suffered multiple cut injuries.

The Melapalayam police rushed the injured to Tirunelveli Medical College Hospital and picked up four minors in this connection.
