Kaka Nagar has become the New Delhi Municipal Corporation’s (NDMC) sixth ‘Anupam Colony’ as it is now equipped with a fully mechanised, dust-free cleaning system, the civic body said on Wednesday. NDMC chairman Keshav Chandra described the transition from manual cleaning to a mechanised system as a “transformative leap” in urban cleanliness. “This initiative marks the beginning of a new era in colony-level sanitation,” he said.
