Coimbatore district will host the 33rd Sri Raghavendra Sapthaha Mahotsava between February 18 and 24, at Sri Ayyappan Puja Sangham, Ramnagar. The event commemorates the Pattabhishekam and Janma Dinotsavam of Sri Raghavendra Swamiji of the Madhwa lineage. Daily rituals including Ashtothara Parayana, Ksheerabhisheka, Panchamruta Abhisheka, Padapooja, Laksha Pushparchane and Deepotsava in the evening. Spiritual discourses will be delivered by scholars from Palimaru Mutt, Udupi, along with Vedic recitations and Bhajans. The inaugural ceremony on February 18 between 5.30 a.m. and 7.30 p.m. will see the presence of Subudhendra Theertha Sripadangalavaru, Vidyadheesha Theertha Sripadangalavaru, and Vidyarajeshwara Theertha Sripadangalavaru. Sundaravadivelu, Chairman of Raghavendra Sapthaha Seva Sangha and Mantralayesha Padasakta Archak Parimalacharya of Raghavendra Sapthaha Karyacharana Samiti, Mantralayam invites devotees to participate in the celebrations.
