39th India International Leather Fair to commence on Sunday

The 39th edition of the India International Leather Fair (IILF) Chennai 2026 is set to begin at the Chennai Trade Centre Nandambakkam from February 1 to 3.

While speaking at the press meet on Saturday, Lt. Col. Harsh Kondilya, Officer on Special Duty & GM Domestic Fairs, said: “This year, 362 Indian companies and 66 oversees participants have shown interest. Germany and Italy have also set up their country pavilions at the fair,” he said. The other participating countries include Australia, Argentina, China, Ethiopia, Hong Kong, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Taiwan, The Netherlands, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom.

R. Selvam, Executive Director, Council for Leather Exports (CLE), said this time there would also be a designer fair at IILF, where designers from 6-7 countries would participate, exhibiting the latest trends.

M. Abdul Wahab, Regional Chairman South CLE. said the IILF attracts the entire supply chain, right from raw material sources to the latest machinery.
