Waltair railway division bags nine best efficiency awards

The Waltair Division of the East Coast Railway bagged nine Best Efficiency Shields, reflecting its excellence across various operational and service domains. In addition, 18 employees from different departments of the division were also selected for the ‘Visisth Rail Seva Puraskar–2025’ in recognition of their outstanding services.

The awards are in 20 categories and would be presented during the 70th Railway Week Award function scheduled to be held on February 4.

Divisional Railway Manager, Waltair, Lalit Bohra, will receive the Best Efficiency Shields on behalf of the Division along with the branch officers at the award function.

The Best Efficiency Shields awarded to Waltair Division are in maintained running room – Rayagada/Waltair; civil engineering; personnel; sales management; security; stores depot of electric loco shed, Waltair; and track machine.

Additionally, Waltair Division shared Best Efficiency Shields jointly with other divisions in the categories of rail madad and signal and telecom.

The Overall Efficiency Shield will be announced at the venue during the award ceremony. Mr. Lalit Bohra congratulated all the departments for their outstanding performance.
