YSRCP leader condemns ‘attack’ on Ambati Rambabu

YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader Gudivada Amarnath on Saturday (January 31, 2026) strongly condemned the alleged attack on former minister Ambati Rambabu. He said that the attack on Ambati Rambabu’s residence allegedly by the TDP supporters was a clear evidence of deteriorating situation of law and order in the State.

“The TDP mobs entered Ambati Rambabu’s house with the intention of killing him. They also terrorised Ambati Rambabu’s wife and children. If this happens to a former Minister, what is the situation of ordinary people,” he alleged.

He said that such a severe attack took place in Guntur, close to the capital, but still the police remained mute spectators. He said the YSRCP would ensure accountability when it comes back to power.
