The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) police of Ongole, registered a case against Municipal Commissioner of Darsi in Prakasam district Yadala Maheswara Rao for amassing properties illegally. The ACB officials on Saturday (January 31), conducted searches on the properties of Mr. Maheswara Rao and his kin in Darsi, Sattenapalli and Narsaraopeta. Police are probing into the allegations on accumulation of assets disproportionate to his legal sources of income. Further investigation is under progress, the investigation officers said in a release.
