Patil who passed away in Belagavi recently. | Photo Credit: SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT A condolence meeting was organised by the Dharwad District Union of Working Journalists (DDUWJ) at the Patrakartara Bhavan in Hubballi on Thursday to pay tributes to senior journalist M.N. Patil who passed away in Belagavi recently. As a reporter of news agency UNI, M.N. Patil worked for some years in Hubballi and on Thursday, senior journalists recalled their association with him. His contemporary journalist Lochanesh Hugar, president of DDUWJ Bandu Kulkarni, journalists Abbas Mulla, Pramod Vaidya and others mourned his demise and recalled his work and their association with him. Several journalists, including DDUWJ office-bearers Guru Bhandage, Prakash Chalageri, Shivashankar Kanthi, and others were present.
