The Economic Survey 2025-26 is set to be tabled during the Budget Session of Parliament on Thursday (January 29, 2026). The document is prepared by the Finance Ministry’s Department of Economic Affairs. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will table the Economic Survey in both Houses of Parliament during the Budget Session. This will be followed by a press briefing by CEA V.A. Anantha Nageswaran where he will explain the key economic trends. It also provides an outlook on future policy changes ahead of the Union Budget. The Union Budget is scheduled to be presented on February 1 by Finance Minster Nirmala Sitharaman.
