Two 18-year-old youths travelling on a motorcycle died on Sunday, when their vehicle came in contact with a live electric cable. The incident happened in Varikuntapadu mandal of SPSR Nellore district, when the two youths, identified as Mekala Ramesh (18) and Talapala Ganesh (18) hailing from Bonigarlapadu village, touched a live cable set up around the fields to scare away animals. The youths were burnt alive as their bike caught fire and was reduced to ashes. Police rushed to the spot, shifted the bodies. and registered a case.
