Road safety rally organised at Bheemunipatnam

A road safety awareness rally was organised under the aegis of Divis Laboratories as part of Road Safety Month at Bheemunipatnam near here on Tuesday. The rally was flagged off by Divis Laboratories managing director Murali Krishna Prasad Divi. Scores of company employees and local residents took part in the programme.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Murali Krishna Prasad stressed the importance of safe driving practices, strict adherence to traffic rules and the collective responsibility of all road users in ensuring safety on roads.

Participants carried placards and banners highlighting the need to wear helmets while riding two-wheelers and to fasten seat belts in cars. They later took a road safety pledge.

Divis Laboratories executive director S. V. Ramana, chief executive officer Kiran Divis and director Devendra Rao also addressed the gathering.
