Two inspectors transferred for dancing to film songs at police stations

Two inspectors from the Chromepet and Pallavaram police stations, along with 20 other police personnel, were transferred to the vacancy reserve for dancing to film songs while celebrating Pongal inside the police stations. 

Ahead of the Pongal festival, celebrations were held at police stations across the city. During the celebrations, a few police personnel danced to film songs. The video went viral over social media networks and WhatsApp groups. 

Sources said a male and a female police constable danced at the Pallavaram police station while other personnel looked on.

The law-and-order inspector in Pallavaram station was transferred to the vacancy reserve category and 10 police personnel transferred to the Armed Reserve unit.

Similarly, the law-and-order inspector and 10 police personnel from Chromepet were also transferred.
