Ernakulam district is all set to get three new senior police officers in the latest reshuffle in the top IPS posts in the State. Kaliraj Mahesh Kumar, Inspector General of Police, Traffic and Road Safety Management, has been transferred and posted as District Police Chief (Kochi City). Though S. Harishankar was appointed District Police Chief (Kochi City) a week ago, he has now been transferred and appointed as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the Armed Police Battalion. He had not assumed charge in the city as he had gone on leave until the January 22. Arul R.B. Krishna Arul R.B. Krishna IPS, DIG, Thrissur Range, has been appointed the new DIG, Ernakulam Range. He replaces S. Sateesh Bino who was recently posted as IGP, Armed Police Battalions. Sudarsan K.S. Sudarsan K.S., District Police Chief (Thiruvananthapuram Rural) is the new District Police Chief (Ernakulam Rural) as M. Hemalatha has been appointed District Police Chief (Kollam City).
