Police personnel across the Cyberabad Commissionerate carried out a voluntary cleanliness and greenery drive on Saturday as part of efforts to create a safer and cleaner environment. Staff at all police stations took part in the programme, during which vehicles parked on station premises, including old vehicles linked to court cases and abandoned vehicles, were identified and segregated. Police said the vehicles were systematically parked in designated areas and steps were taken to streamline record management related to them. The drive also extended beyond police station buildings, with surrounding areas being cleaned and hygiene measures given special focus. As part of the initiative, saplings were planted within police station premises to promote greenery.
