The Federation of All India Medical Associations (FAIMA) has appointed Dr. D Srinath from Telangana as its Acting President with immediate effect, the organisation announced on Saturday, January 17. In a statement, FAIMA said that Dr. Srinath has been a long-standing and active member of the federation and is currently serving as the president of the Telangana Senior Resident Doctors Association (T-SRDA). As Acting President, Dr. Srinath will oversee FAIMA’s organisational activities, represent the body in official communications, and continue its advocacy on matters related to the dignity, safety, and professional development of medical practitioners nationwide, the statement said.
