The Railway Ministry has extended the periodicity of Jabalpur Jn-Coimbatore Jn-Jabalpur Jn Weekly Special Express for a period of five years. Train No. 02198 Jabalpur Jn-Coimbatore Jn Weekly Special, the running of which was to end on March 6, 2026, has been extended till December 27, 2030. Periodicity of its pairing train, Train No. 02197 Coimbatore Jn-Jabalpur Jn Weekly Superfast Special, which was to end on March 9, 2026, has been extended till December 30, 2030, according to a release from Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd.
