Sai Pallavi and Junaid Khan in ‘Ek Din’ teaser | Photo Credit: Aamir Khan Productions/YouTube The teaser of Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi’s upcoming romantic drama, Ek Din was unveiled by the makers on Friday, January 16, 2026. Directed by Sunil Pandey and written by Sneha Desai and Spandan Mishra, the film has been produced by Aamir Khan Productions. The teaser gives a brief glimpse into the world of the film where Pallavi plays Meera, whose smile draws Junaid’s character into love. The two are seen walking together in snow-covered streets as a romantic track plays in the background. “What’s the point of dreams if they aren’t beyond our reach,” Junaid is heard saying at one point. The teaser ends with an exchange between the two where they are discussing how films have a magical quality to them. “But nothing like that happens in real life,” wonders Meera to which Junaid’s character replies, “Sometimes, it can happen. Magic.” The film promises to be a feel good love story between the two. Ek Din features music by Ram Sampath and lyrics by Irshad Kamil. It will be released in theatres on May 1, 2026. Pallavi was last seen in Thandelalongside Naga Chaitanya. On the other hand, Junaid featured in Loveyapa, the official remake of the Tamil film, Love Today.
