The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (BMRCL) on Tuesday announced that a seventh train will be inducted into the Yellow Line services on January 15, which will improve peak-hour frequency. In an official statement, BMRCL said the services will operate at a 10-minute frequency during peak hours from Monday to Saturday, compared to the current 13 minutes with the induction of the seventh train. On Sundays, the frequency will be reduced to 14 minutes from the present 15 minutes. BMRCL clarified that there will be no change in the scheduled departure of the first and last trains from either terminal station.
