PSG College of Technology in Coimbatore hosted a three-day platinum Jubilee alumni meet from January 9 to 11.

Alumni and their family members from India and abroad gathered to celebrate the college’s 75 years since its establishment.

The event was inaugurated by Kasi Goundan, a former director of KMCH and a past alumnus of the college. He shared his memories of the institution, its role in his professional journey and credited the values instilled by the institution for his success. The guest of honour, Velusami, Chairman of the Institute of Indian Foundrymen Coimbatore, reminisced about being a PSGian and emphasised the strong bond shared among alumni and how that helped him in various professional stages. Several other alumni also shared their experiences during the event.

Managing trustee of PSG Sons’ Charities L. Gopalakrishnan, along with the founder president of the alumni association Somasundaram, honoured the chief guest and guest of honour. The event celebrated the strong community that exists among the alumni of PSG College.
