Saibaba temple annual fair in Shahapur from Jan. 17

A three-day annual fair of Sri Saibaba temple will be held from January 17 in Ibrahimpur village of Shahapur taluk, chairman of the temple trust Maharaj Diggi has said.

Addressing a press meet in Yadgir on Monday, Mr. Diggi said that during the annual fair, different cultural, traditional and devotional programmes will be organised.

“On the first day, free mass marriages will be held. Legally eligible bride and bridegroom will be married free,” he said.

On the second day, religious programmes will be held where seers from different mutts will be present.

Achievers in various fields and those engaged in social activities will be honoured, while actor Dhananjay (Daali), Chairperson of the Karnataka State Commission for Women Nagalakshmi Choudhary and social activist Niket Raj Moury will attend as special guests.

On the third and final day, a wrestling competition will be held and anna dasoha will be organised for devotees coming from various parts of the State.
