A total of 91 nomination papers were received for the four Assembly segments in Tiruvarur district from 63 persons. At the close of filling of nomination papers for the 2026 Assembly Elections, 12 persons have filed 22 nomination papers to contest in Thiruthuraipoondi constituency, 19 have submitted 24 papers in Mannargudi, 13 have filed 17 papers in Tiruvarur, and 19 have forwarded 28 papers for scrutiny in Nannilam.
