The book, which is an owner’s manual for the human body, was researched and compiled by the doctors and was released at a function held in the city on Tuesday. Ravi Pachamuthu, chairman of SRM Group, congratulated Vijay C. Bose, joint director and senior consultant, SIMS Hospital, for the effort in producing the book. Mohamed Rela, chairman of Rela Hospital, in his address, said overeating and lack of exercise had become the bane of society. Today, the country stands second to China with 780 million tonnes of food being wasted every year.
