The Nilgiris District Collector said that there were a total of 5,47,133 voters in the district as per the final electoral rolls published on Monday.

As per the final rolls, in the Nilgiris district, there are 2,61,317 male voters, 2,85,791 female voters, and 25 third-gender voters, bringing the total number to 5,47,133 voters. Compared to the draft electoral rolls, there is an increase of 14,057 voters, it was stated.

In Udhagamandalam Assembly constituency, there are 89,066 male voters, 98,348 female voters, and 11 third-gender voters, totalling 1,87,425 voters, Gudalur (Reserved), there are 89,206 male voters, 94,675 female voters, and 7 third-gender voters, totalling 1,83,888 voters and Coonoor – 83,045 male voters, 92,768 female voters, and 7 third-gender voters, totalling 1,75,820 voters, a press release from the district administration added.

Copies of the final electoral rolls released were handed over to representatives of all recognised political parties.
